Everybody loves Bob! Commissioned by a neighbor of mine. For this project, my neighbor specifically asked me to paint Bob Ross painting a scene into a window to decorate his office because at the time it had none of its own.

This was my first time attempting a pet portrait! Honestly, it wasn’t theat hard. Don’t get me wrong, it came with its difficulties as all art does, but my process helps me to minimize the pontential for “happy accidents“. Before I even purchase the canvas or think about putting paint to canvas, I mockup every piece using Procreate on my iPad and having good quality photos of my subject(s) helps a ton! I enjoyed the entire process of creating this piece, especially getting to personally deliver the piece. It was a pleasure to meet Shorty and Classy. Their dad loves them very much! As always I am so grateful for the opportunity to spread happiness through the gift God has given me. Well, that’s it for this one folks!

In this episode of the commission saga, we turn to a futuristic wasteland in a universe called Shadow Run. It’s a game system that utilizes paper and dice partnered with imagination to create characters who go on adventures, level up and master the world in which the game is set Our three adventurers stand atop one of the highest buildings in the city looking toward a window containing a portal to a brighter future version of Seattle. They peer into the gateway ready to jump into a better world to conquer not knowing what could lie ahead but fully ready, willing and able to take on whatever challenges it may throw their way! I felt this piece would be a fantastic use of some novelty glow in the dark paints that I acquired a while ago off Amazon. The result is outstanding, especially in comparison to the heavy texture matte black paint in the silhouette which I purchased from a company in Florida called Gaffrey Art Materials. They supply all my heavy texture acrylics and thus far have not disappointed!
